We are recruiting...
We currently have a vacancy for a Case Manager at our Manchester site. For more information, please view our Clinical Vacancies
page.
Skills for Care Workforce Development Fund
Some of our Case Managers have recently been successful in getting money back for their clients, through Skills for Care Workforce Development Fund for Individual Employers. This enabled the clients Support Workers to get specific brain injury training, without any cost to the client. The funding also allowed the client to get replacement cover whilst the Support Worker was on training, meaning that the client still received support. Overall, JSP has been able to recover £5,969.00 of funding for our clients training costs.

Swim Star
This is Jack Mitchell. Jack is ten years old and has been a client of ours for 8 months. He attends swimming lessons each Sunday morning which he absolutely loves! He was recently nominated by his respite centre, Chancet Wood, for the Star Awards. Jack was the winner of the Outstanding Achievement category and he received a medal and a trophy for his fantastic swimming.

Jack enjoys swimming so much that he has decided that he would like to do a sponsored swim to raise money for a cancer charity in memory of his Nannan Margaret.
If you are interested in sponsoring Jack please contact his Case Manager, Jo Renshaw, on 0114 229 0100.
Well done Jack! We look forward to hearing about your sponsored swim and further fantastic achievements with your swimming progress.

Brain Injury Group
The Brain Injury Group is run by families of people who have suffered a brain injury. They have set up a website which aims to provide support to family members. It contains useful information, a sharing of personal stories and a forum for ongoing support. The website address is www.braininjurygroup.org.uk
and is well worth a look.
