Day 1: The brain and cognition

Get an overview of the mechanics of brain injury and cognitive difficulties, including attention, memory, information processing and executive functioning.

Day 2: Emotional / behavioural changes and fatigue

7th November 2018, 10am-4pm

Take your learning further with an overview of emotional and behavioural changes after brain injury and fatigue; the impact of these on daily life; and a range of approaches and support strategies that can help when responding to clients’ needs.

In order to benefit from day 2, although it is not essential to have attended day 1, participants will be expected to have a basic understanding of the workings of the brain, brain injury and cognitive function.

Who is this training for?

Case managers, therapists and other professionals new to the field of brain injury, as well as more experienced staff who want to refresh their knowledge.

Cost per person

1 day only - £125 per delegate / 2 days - £200 per delegate

Cost includes refreshments throughout the day and lunch.
